For 42 years, Gosnold on Cape Cod has been the region’s leading provider of Addiction and Mental Health treatment. The company was incorporated by a group of Cape Cod residents and began with the creation of a twenty bed detoxification unit at the Pocasset Hospital.  Over the past 42 years this single program has expanded to meet the growing needs of the Cape Cod community. Since the beginning, our commitment has been to serve persons in need, without regard to means or ability to pay. Gosnold serves all of Cape Cod and the Islands through its inpatient programs and five Cape-based outpatient clinics. Two additional sites are located off-Cape in Brockton and North Dartmouth. Our continuum of services is designed to reach the broad population of individuals suffering with addiction and/or mental and emotional disorders.

 

Throughout all of this growth, Gosnold has benefitted from the generosity and gracious spirit of the Cape. Significant investments from the community have contributed to the development of innovative programs and services that have changed and improved how we treat addiction.

 

Gosnold continues to lead the way in the research and development of new strategies for treating addiction and mental health. Several of our recently developed programs have been recognized and honored by national healthcare organizations. Our commitment to push forward with this important work is strengthened by the support of our community.
